CCA faculty member Michael Epstein awarded $100,000 grant for media project documenting the history of affordable housing
CCA faculty member Michael Epstein has been awarded a $100,000 grant from National Endowment for the Humanities to create an immersive media project on the history of affordable housing in San Francisco.
Michael and his team, which includes humanities scholars from MIT, the University of Oregon, University of Iowa, San Francisco State, and SUNY Buffalo as well as producers from public radio, print journalism, and immersive theater, are working on multi-episode series of GPS guided walking tours in San Francisco about the evolution of affordable housing in the city and across the country.
